Summer weekend workshop

Duration: 3 days, weekend



Join us for this cozy wheel throwing weekend workshop. Over the course of a weekend you will learn how to throw useable ceramics like cups and bowls. Both beginners and more experienced wheel throwers are welcome at the workshop. On all three days we will enjoy a light meal together so that we have energy to continue our work. Only 5 spots available for the workshop.

- Sunday 29.6 - 10:00-14:00 (including lunch)

Session Breakdown

Session 1: Basic Throwing Techniques

Learn to throw the first essential shape in ceramics: a perfect cylinder.

Session 2: Building on Your Throwing Techniques

Advancing your skills and refining your techniques


Session 3: Trimming

Trim the pieces from sessions 1 and 2. Improve their shape, add foot rings and small details like handles etc. At the end of this class you choose your 5 favourite pieces that will be bisque fired and glazed in the colour you choose.


Note: We spend the last 25 minutes of each session cleaning the wheels. Please remember to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. I do not recommend long finger nails, it makes it difficult to throw


Additional Information
Included in the Price: All materials and tea. 5 finished ceramic pieces (glazed and fired).
 Light dinner on Friday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday
Language: Danish or English 
Pick up: You can pick up your fired pieces 3-4 weeks after the last session.

Payment and refund: Workshops can be refunded within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, the booking and payment are binding. The same binding applies if you miss one or more of the days in the course. If a class gets cancelled, you will receive a voucher for a new class.
