Wheel throwing

Learn how to creates ceramic pieces on the wheel in the calm surroundings of Studio Shalma in Frederiksberg. The classes are small and intimate, with a maximum of 6 students at a time, ensuring personalized guidance for everyone. All classes are beginner-friendly, so no prior experience is needed (unless the class specifically states that it is a level 2 class). Our goal is for you to have fun, learn, and unwind during your time at the studio.
The classes are taught by either Sherin or Arezoo. Both teachers have years of experience with both producing and teaching ceramics. Read more about them further down. It will be noted under each class who will be teaching the class.

Sherin

Sherin is the owner and founder of Studio Shalma.
She is obssesed with nice smell which you will notice the minute you enter the studio because she for sure has lit some kind of incense just before class.
Only rule in her class: there will be no production of ashtrays.

Arezoo

Apart from producing and teaching in ceramics, Arezoo Shirdel is a skilled henna artist. She has embellished the hands of hundreds of brides to be, but now she has transfered her henna skills to her ceramics practice.
She teaches ceramics the same way she does henna; with patience and precision.
