Najmat Al-Bahr translates into star of the sea. This limited collection of wall hung pieces tell the story of a star that stared longingly into the sea every night. It dreamed of being amongst the wild and free creatures of the sea instead of being doomed to a immortal life in the night sky. It was tricked by the sea god and fell from the sky into the sea where it forever lived a life as half sea creature half star.
All pieces are made of stoneware clay and are glazed in either a beige or blue/beige mat glaze. All pieces can easily be mounted by hanging them in a screw in the back.
